ProjectsGrove Residence
This remodelling of a Neo-Georgian villa with a new build extension sits within a generous garden. Extending over three storeys, the house features study, kitchen, dining and living spaces on the ground floor. A cantilevered stone staircase along a gentle curve in the double storey high entrance hall links this area with the bedrooms above. Conceived as an evolving sequence of spaces, the interior opens out towards its surroundings and acts as a vessel for the ever changing quality of light.
Attention to Detail
The palette of internal materials comprises polished plaster, beige limestone, cast bronze and American walnut. This is complemented by an exceptional attention to detail reflected in bespoke door handles, light fittings and joinery - an approach supported by the client’s commitment to achieving the highest quality design and craftsmanship. Although highly elaborate and complex, the design respects the domestic scale and history of the house.
