Leather Reception Desk

This 'Patalab designed reception desk forms the centre piece of the new entrance lobby to Marconi House, a high-end residential apartment building in London's West End. Previously Marconi House on the Strand was the home of the Marconi Wireless and Telegraphy Company and the site of the very first BBC studio and transmitter.

Guiding Visitors from the entrance towards the lift lobbies

Complimenting the rich interior of the lobby and echoing the Art Deco period during which the building was originally constructed, the reception desk is clad in a sumptuous red leather and discreetly lit. The dynamic shape was envisaged to guide visitors from the entrance towards the lift lobbies.

The desk was manufactured in Cambridge by Gatewood Joinery.
