Patalab’s architecture office in Berlin –
your partner to realize ambitious projects in Germany

Established in 2017, this studio offers complete design services for German and international clients. The architecture office in Berlin is based in the upcoming district of Wedding, is centrally located and currently works on exciting projects in Berlin and other regions in Germany.

Having worked internationally for many years, Patalab offers existing connections and an in depth understanding of different regulatory environments. The ability to bridge cultures has been vital to unlock the potential of many of our European projects as the office uses its established relationships with local agents, consultants, suppliers, craftsmen and contractors.

Our multi-lingual team is passionate about design. We pride ourselves in producing inspirational proposals with the ultimate goal to implement what we design. Our projects in Germany include large scale residential and commercial refurbishments, new build mixed-use schemes, heritage projects, loft conversions, interior and furniture design.

Working with and for our clients, we combine a very personal, tailored and creative approach of a boutique studio with efficient project development.

Patalab is a chartered practice of the Royal Institute of British Architects and member of the Berlin Architektenkammer in Germany.

Whatever your project in Germany, our architecture office in Berlin will be able to support you

Site development

We carry out strategic reviews for the development of premises to unlock the site’s potential and assess planning requirements.

We are passionate about working with existing buildings. Based on a thorough investigation we develop sensitive and innovative approaches how to transform existing structures into contemporary spaces.

Loft Conversion

Converting existing loft spaces into habitable rooms can be a cost-effective way to extend the spatial capacities of your property. We can provide studies and options, tailored solutions to unique situations.

New Build

We enjoy delivering innovative and site-specific new build projects, producing sensitive but powerful designs that compliment their context. Striking exteriors and beautifully proportioned interiors are accentuated by rich materiality, attention to detail and exceptional craftsmanship - attributes our studio is known for.

Each listed building is to be assessed on its own merit. Repair and restoration on one hand and modern technology and construction methods on the other can both be appropriate responses depending on the context. In our approach we appreciate and accentuate achievements of previous generations and seek to complement these situations with our own contemporary interventions.
